News Update November 2021
We know it’s only November but are we allowed to get a little bit festive yet???
We had bonfire night and what a great event that was for the whole village. Your support for the event, the fundraising and the pub was nothing short of tremendous so thank you to all who came. We’ve been busy taking bookings for your parties and planning our Christmas Fair, so we are starting to feel very festive already, despite Darren’s’ occasional grumbles of submission.
So, what’s happening……….
December 2021 – Dates for Christmas parties are booking up so please contact us to secure a date for your Christmas get together. We have a Christmas Fayre menu running from 1st-24th December for groups of 6 or more plus we are running our normal menu too.
Saturday 11th December – Christmas Fair Our Christmas Fair is coming together nicely but it’s not too late to join in if you want to. We have 12 stalls at the time of writing so there’s room to squeeze in a couple more. We will have some truly unique gifts for you to buy, all from local small businesses plus some hot food, mulled beverages and hot chocolate with a kick so please come along and enjoy some festive fun. The fair will be open 12-5 and the pub 12-11.
Sunday 12th December 5pm – Christmas Meat raffle
First prize is £100 worth of Duttons meat plus many more prizes. Any profits from this will go towards the completion of the Pavilion so it’s a win win for all of us. You can purchase your raffle tickets at the pub.
Christmas Eve – Our favourite night of the calendar!!!! Even though we don’t yet have a vicar to join us this year we will still have some representation from The Church and will be having our wonderful Christmas Carol sing along as usual. If you are planning on dining that night too, please ensure that you book in advance as it is a very popular evening.
Christmas Day – We will be open for drinks only from 11:30am to 2:30pm
New Years Eve – We have an amazing menu for you this year so why not book in for dinner then we will turn the music up and party till it’s time to welcome in the New Year. Let’s kick this Covid year into touch with a bit of class shall we
